Technology that changes the way you use a sauna

Warm air rises, cold air sinks: in a traditional sauna, this means that it is usually 20–40 degrees warmer near the ceiling than near the floor. The body heats unevenly, breathing becomes more difficult, and fatigue sets in sooner than you can properly relax.

Saunum actively solves this problem. The integrated climate unit continuously draws in overheated air from the ceiling, mixes it inside the unit with cooler air from lower levels, and returns it to the cabin as a gentle, homogeneous steam. The result is a sauna where the temperature throughout the cabin is almost the same – from head to toe.

In addition, most models include Himalayan salt spheres. During operation, negative ions with proven halotherapeutic effects are released into the air. Salt ions purify the air in the cabin, soothe the respiratory tract, support skin regeneration, and promote deeper and more restful sleep after sauna use.
